How many apartment locations do you have?
The Quarters consists of six apartment communities located in the heart of West Campus and within walking distance to the University of Texas. We’re also conveniently located to Austin Community College’s Rio Grande Campus.
Do you have on-site leasing offices at each location?
We have a centrally located leasing office at 2222 Rio Grande St. Convenient parking is available in The Quarters parking garage.
Do I need an apartment locator to rent an apartment?
No, a locator is not needed to rent an apartment. Our leasing staff will happily assist you in selecting the community that best fits your needs.
What floor plans do you have?
We have a wide range of floor plans from studios to four-bedroom apartments. Many of our floor plans also accommodate double-occupancy bedrooms for those who prefer to share with a roommate to lower your housing costs. In double-occupancy bedrooms, there are two sinks in the bathroom vanity and a closet for each occupant. All of our apartments have bedroom/bathroom parity.
Do you lease by the apartment or bedroom?
We lease by the bedroom regardless of whether you rent with friends or not. Each resident in a bedroom signs a separate lease.
What are the hours of the fitness center?
The fitness center is open 24/7 to all residents of The Quarters on Campus. Drop by the leasing center at 2222 Rio Grande St. (Karnes House) to take a look.
Are you on the UT shuttle route?
Yes, the West Campus bus route has stops all around our six communities. However, we’re so close, it’s often faster to walk.
Do you have online bill pay or accept credit cards?
Cameron, Montgomery, Sterling, Grayson, Nueces, and Karnes Houses offer online bill pay by registering on the resident portal and accept most major credit cards.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, cashier’s checks, credit cards, or money orders. Cash is not accepted.
What is Installment Rent?
Installment rent is the total amount of rent to be paid over your lease term divided into an equal number of payments of the same amount.
Do you offer SMART Housing?
Yes, SMART Housing is offered at all buildings on select one-bedroom and efficiency apartments. See the resources tab to see if you can qualify for this program. Apartments lease quickly, so don’t wait to lease a SMART Housing apartment.
What is the emergency maintenance number?
The emergency maintenance number is (512) 531-0123. After hours, choose option 0 “Zero” to speak with the 24-hour operator.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, cats and dogs up to 35 pounds. Additional fees may apply.
